2. For electrical devices such as explosion-proof motors that experience vibrations, using steel pipes, although straightforward, can lead to loosened joints due to operational vibrations. Thus, it is essential to install flexible conduits at the power entries of these devices. Similarly, when replacing tubes or starters in explosion-proof fluorescent lights, which requires detaching one end of the tube, flexible conduits should be installed at the wiring entry points.
3. Prior to the installation of explosion-proof flexible conduits, they must be thoroughly inspected for any signs of cracks, holes, mechanical damage, or deformation. The installation site should not exceed temperatures of 40°C. During their use, the bending radius of the conduits must not fall below five times their outer diameter.
