深海防爆
不同類型嘅防爆電氣設備需要不同嘅外殼保護標準. 呢啲標準, 稱為保護等級, denote the casing’s capability to block external objects from penetrating its interior and to provide resistance against water ingress. 根據 “外殼提供嘅防護等級 (IP代碼)” (GB4208), a casing’s protection grade is denoted by the IP code. This code comprises the initials IP (International Protection), followed by two numerals and sometimes optional additional letters (which are occasionally omitted).

The first numeral indicates the degree of protection against solid objects, while the second numeral represents the water resistance level. Protection against solid objects ranges across 6 水平: 水平 0 signifies no protection, and level 6 indicates complete dust-tightness, with protection increasing progressively from 0 自 6. 同樣地, water protection spans 8 水平: 水平 0 denotes no protection, and level 8 indicates suitability for prolonged submersion, with protection increasing progressively from 0 自 8.
